There's always something to do in the area of Seascape Lodge. You can visit buzzing Tauranga, take a Murals Guided Tour in the nearby town of Katikati or check out the local wineries. Morton Estate is right around the corner from the lodge.
A visit to the Katikati Bird Gardens should also be considered. There are many rare birds to see and to feed and they are anything but shy. Or you can explore the many local craft venues and galleries in the area. The Katikati Visitor Centre can provide you with all the details.
If you like water sports you could go sea and safe harbour fishing, harbour sailing, water skiing, jet boating or swimming. And wouldn't it be nice to have a picnic on the beach or to go shellfish gathering on a nice and sunny day? There are plenty of opportunities to go bush walking, tramping or bird watching in the area of the lodge too.
The Bay of Plenty is home to 13 of New Zealand's finest golf courses. They are all within a one hour drive of Seascape Lodge. All welcome casual players and most courses have club hire and carts available. The championship 18-hole golf course Golf Pacifica is located just a few minutes away. |
